After School Program at North Suffolk engages school age children involved with the Department of Mental Health in psych-educational groups and therapeutic recreational activities. Referrals come directly from the Department of Mental Health, Department of Social Services, or local providers.

Community Outreach and Treatment |

Child and Family Home-Based Services provides community outreach and treatment through intensive, home-based support to families referred by the MA Department of Mental Health. Home-based services encompass both the Supported Treatment and Resource Team (START) and Family Stabilization Team (FST). |

Prevention |

Strengthening Families Program engages early teens and their parents in psycho-educational groups that improve family communication and functioning and prevent substance abuse. The Strengthening Families Program uses a science-based curriculum and engages English and Khmer-speaking families. The program is a partnership with the Revere CARES Coalition and Massachusetts General Hospital Revere Health Center.

Substance Abuse Treatment for Children and Adolescents |

Noddles Island is North Suffolk’s Substance Abuse Department. Noddles Island provides children and adolescents with evaluations, individual, group and family counseling, psycho-educational groups, addiction psychiatry, and drug screening. Noddles Island clinicians also provide evaluations and psycho-educational groups onsite in schools. Participating communities include East Boston, Revere and Winthrop. |
