Registered Nurse – Conexions Day Treatment
Provides direct behavioral health services to consumers within a day treatment program in a community setting, and to represent the nursing discipline as an integral part of the program’s multidisciplinary team. BSN or RN. Group facilitation skills and multidisciplinary setting experience with SPMI population required; length of experience contingent upon educational credentials: RN: four years; BSN: two years.
Employee Health & Safety Nurse
Conducts program of voluntary inoculation of employees against Hepatitis—B, and testing for Tuberculosis, to provide protection of both clients and staff against these and other serious communicable diseases. Develops and presents training seminars and workshops as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Department of Public Health (DPH) and Department of Mental Health (DMH). Requirements include current and valid Massachusetts licensure as an LPN. One to three years of experience after licensure, which includes experience in creating, developing and presenting training programs, and record maintenance.
Staff Psychiatrist
Reports to the Medical Director. Performs professional services in directing and assisting in various clinical and psychiatric programs or research for clients.
Minimum Licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Board eligibility in psychiatry as determined by the Commissioner of Mental Health.
Completion of three years of Psychiatric Residency and two years of professional experience in the field of psychiatry.
RN
This member of the Program for Assertive Treatment (PACT) multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians, providing management and administration of medication under the supervision of the lead nurse, providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff. The psychiatric nurse may have a Master's, Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Must have at least one year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting
Psychiatric Nurse/Addictions Specialist
This member of the Program for Assertive Treatment (PACT) multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians, providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the lead nurse, providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, and sharing shift-management responsibility with other staff. This person functions as one of the team’s substance abuse specialist. The addiction specialist psychiatric nurse may have a Master's, Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Must have at least one year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting as well as a certification in addiction treatment
Nurse Coordinator
Outstanding opportunity to provide nursing consultative services to all individuals with Community Living Programs. Responsibilities include monitoring and implementing policies regarding medication administration, training staff in Medication Administration Program (MAP), providing on site case consultation, and participation in risk assessment and case conference meetings. Requirements include Bachelor’s in Nursing, RN certification, experience with MR/MH population, and experience with residential and community based services. Position is based in Chelsea and required community based travel.
