Programs are located throughout the Greater Boston area in Chelsea, Revere, Winthrop, Waltham, and North Reading.



Employment & Day Services Coordinator

Responsible for the day to day management of program which includes staff supervision and training, interviewing and hiring of employees, liaison with licensing agencies, consumer advocacy, participate in the development of policies and procedures, procurement and job development, management of employment supports, time studies and job quoting, fiscal management and accounts receivable. Master’s in Human Services/ Vocational Rehabilitation preferred (Significant additional experience may be considered in lieu of Masters degree with the approval of the Director of MR Services). Minimum of five years experience in similar setting serving adults with mental retardation/ developmental disabilities. Minimum of two years supervisory experience required. Previous experience procuring work contracts (sales & marketing) desired. Experience with individuals who use sign language or total communication systems is also preferred. Knowledge of DMR and MCB regulations needed.

Assistant Program Coordinators (Chelsea)

This position is responsible for assisting the programmatic and administrative aspects of a residential program under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and/or the Residential Services Coordinator. High School Degree or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. Medication, CPR/First-Aid certification or ability to receive certifications required within three months of employment required, as well as one year experience in the Human Services field. Supervisory experience preferred and a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License required.

Relief Staff

We have part time (per diem) shifts available in our MR residential programs.  Flexible hours – day, evening, and overnight hours.  High School Diploma/GED required.  Driver’s License highly preferred. No experience required.

Direct Care Worker

Entry level position to provide for the health, safety, and quality of life of individuals in a residential program through advocacy and teaching.  Responsibilities include implement and assist consumers with ISP goals, supervise consumers in meaningful activities such as chores, cooking, leisure activities, and personal routines, medication distribution, accompany individuals to outside activities, and upkeep/maintenance of program.  Requirements include HS Diploma/GED, 6 months experience working in human services preferred, and certification (Medication, First Aid, and CPR) or the ability to achieve within three months of employment.  Driver’s License required.

Awake/Asleep Overnight Counselor

Opportunity to be responsible for the safety and well being of consumers in a residential setting during overnight shifts.  Responsibilities include providing assistance to consumers based on need level of consumers, being awake and available to consumers until they have left the program or until morning staff arrives, security checks, log notes, and any duties based on consumer need or schedule.  Requirements include HS Diploma/GED, 1 year experience in Human Services, and certification (Medication, First Aid, and CPR) or the ability to achieve within three months of employment. Residential Case Manager

Opportunity to supervise and participate with individuals in activities of daily living, socialization, leisure time, and community integration.  Additional responsibilities include medication administration, daily logs, attending appointments with individuals, money management, and additional responsibilities.  Requirements include HS Diploma/GED, BA/BS preferred, 1year Human Services Experience, effective communication skills,  certification (Medication, First Aid, CPR) or the ability to achieve within three months of employment.  Management opportunity responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of a program as well as the overall health and safety of the individuals under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.  Responsibilities include recruiting, training, supervision, scheduling, development and implementation of Quality Indicators, budgets/expenses, and participation in assessment of individual referrals/admissions/discharges.  Requirements include BA/BS in Human Services preferred, minimum 1-year experience, effective communication skills, certification (Medication, First Aid, and CPR) or the ability to achieve within three months of employment, and on call responsibilities.
