Residential Counselor – Meridian House
Responsible for the health, safety and quality of life of individuals in a residential setting through advocacy, teaching and service planning, individual and group counseling. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree and/or CADAC preferred. Medication, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to receive certifications required. A minimum of one year full-time substance abuse counseling experience. If in recovery, must have a minimum of two years current continuous sobriety. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license needed.
Clinician – Substance Abuse Services
Opportunity to provide a broad range of clinical services for clients and social work leadership for the Substance Abuse Services Program. Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or related field and LICSW, LMHC, or LCSW required. Minimum of two (2) years experience in substance abuse treatment. Family and/or adolescent work experience preferred.
Relief staff for Meridian House
This position is responsible for the health, safety and quality of life of the individuals in a residential setting through advocacy and teaching under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, or designated supervisor on an as needed basis. High school degree or GED required; Bachelor’s in related field preferred. Six months human services experience with similar population required. Must have the ability to become medication, SFA and CPR certified after training provided by a maximum of three months.
